Art Teacher - Bury - September start
We are specifically working with a rapidly improving secondary school in Bury, who are looking for a temporary Art Teacher. They require the successful candidate to teach Art to both key stage 3 & 4 from September for the full academic year on a full-time basis.
You will be required to become fully immersed in the department, attend departmental meetings and be available for parents evenings as and when required. As well as deliver lessons that are both engaging and academically appropriate to stretch the students in the classes.
The students are keen to concentrate and work hard in their lesson, as they settle down to work quickly. The students movement around the school quickly and orderly around the school, resulting in a calm environment which is ideal for learning.
The role will be open to newly qualified teachers (ECT) as well as teachers who have more experience, we pay from M1 to M6 (sometimes we can also pay through threshold if you have done so, depending on the role).

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Degree educated with a good classification (2:2 or above in an Art related subject
PGCE and QTS in Art.
Previous experience working of working with young people (which we can reference).
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided).
Up to date prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided).
Up to date behaviour management & FGM training in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided).
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to process a new application.
Provide two professional children related references.
