Practice Development Officer

Sirona Medical are recruiting a Social Worker/Practice Educator to join the Workforce Development Team in a Local Authority in Merseyside.

Job Role: This particular role is based within Merseyside. Social worker will develop and deliver a clear and robust learner’s programme to support the Continuous Professional Development of all our social care workforce through bespoke programmes, i.e. ASYE, Apprenticeships, Step-ups. You will be an advocate of promoting good practice across the organisation, undertaking audits and support our Quality Assurance Service.

Sirona Medical will be providing the Social Worker on an agency contract. 

This is a full time agency position 35 hours per week. Expectation to work on site depends on diary arrangements, but approximately 2-3 times per week, so needs to live locally within the area.

As a Social Worker, you must have a degree in Social Work, Practice Educator Qualification, confident in designing and delivering comprehensive high quality training sessions, applying your wealth of knowledge of children’s legislation, case management, policies, frameworks and procedures, extensive experience in supervising and/or mentoring social care workforce members, as well as supporting our Practice Educators, Social Work England Registation.
