Laboratory Operations Manager

As the UK’s largest manufacturing sector, the Food and Beverages industry continues to require specialist services to ensure consumer safety and product quality. Our client offers market-leading services to both large multinational companies and small businesses across the UK and internationally.

Seeking a Laboratory Operations Manager to join their Analytical Services division, you will be instrumental in leading a team of Managers within the Chemistry department, holding responsibility for up to 60 indirect reports. With a strong operations focus, you will coordinate and oversee daily laboratory functions and productivity, developing and supporting your team of Managers. In addition, you will work to improve operational efficiency and best practice such as lead times and project delivery.

Applications are invited from accomplished Managers from a high-volume chemistry testing laboratory, ideally ISO 17025 regulated. You will have strong people management skills and have experience leading Supervisors or Managers holding their own direct reports.
