Senior Civil Engineer

Our client, a renowned consultancy specialising in civil and structural engineering, is inviting applications for a Senior Civil Engineer in their Drainage Infrastructure team.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the delivery of Civil Engineering designs across various infrastructure projects.
Engage in detailed 3D design and modelling for drainage systems using tools like MicroDrainage and/or InfoDrainage.
Manage and mentor a team, providing technical support and overseeing resource planning for seamless project delivery.
Maintain effective communication and relationships with statutory bodies such as Natural Resources Wales and the Environment Agency.
Develop solutions in line with National Planning Policy and Infrastructure design requirements, particularly relating to flood risk management.
Uphold a customer-focused culture that emphasises quality and integrity in service delivery.

Job Requirements:

Proven experience in surface, and foul water design and construction, adept with statutory approval processes.
Preferably holding a Masters degree in Civil Engineering and nearing Professional Qualification with ICE or CIWEM.
Skilled in 3D design and modelling software specific to drainage solutions.
Exceptional leadership capabilities with the ability to manage diverse teams and multiple concurrent projects.
Excellent communication skills and proficiency in fostering significant client and statutory relationships.
Self-driven with a methodical approach to work within an integrated management system.
