This highly ambitious start-up specialises in a variety of construction projects, including new build, renovation, and extension projects for residential, commercial, and public sector clientele. They have a close-knit team of highly skilled construction professionals that have grown up to an 8 figure turnover in just the first couple of years of trading. Due to their recent success, they are now looking to go through the next phase of growth which is why they are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor.

In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of commercial activities throughout the life cycle of each project, including but not limited to the preparation of tender documents, bill of quantities, price and forecast project costs, and assist with procurement.

This role would suit an ambitious individual looking to progress through the ranks quickly. You will have at least a good understanding of NEC and/or JCT contracts and knowledge of contractual law. The successful candidate will be seeking a long-term role where they can progress into a Commercial Manager position.

*Quantity Surveyor
*Overseeing all commercial activities on projects from cradle to grave
*Some site travel required
*Office based in York

The Person:
*Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor from any Construction background
*Knowledge of NEC, JCT contracts, and contractual law
*Can do attitude
*Commutable distance from York
