Langham Recruitment is recruiting exclusively for a rapidly growing high-tech start-up, a collaboration between a system integrator and two major international automotive OEMs. An exciting new requirement has arisen for a Simulation Engineer to be instrumental in building a brand-new lab and developing the software for high-spec simulated driving rigs. This is a unique opportunity for someone with vehicle simulation experience to spearhead a project with substantial international funding.
Key Requirements:
Develop and implement HIL and MIL systems to simulate and test automotive components and systems.
Specialised in integrating actuators into simulation loops
Strong background in mechatronics, which combines mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering.
Design, build, and maintain test rigs and simulation rigs, including those for active chassis control systems like steering, brakes, suspension, and powertrain.
Experience with tools like AVL, Dspace, and IPG. Proficient in building and managing HIL rigs.Skills & Experience
Proficiency in building and operating simulation and test rigs.
Knowledge of automotive systems and components.
