We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Night Lead to join a four bedded home for Children and Young People with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Job Title: Night Lead - Children's residential home
Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester
Salary: £30,862 - £31,858
Shift Pattern: X3 12.5-hour shifts per week
Contract: 37.5 hours per week Full-time, permanent

The provider offers residential homes, education and other support services to enable children's young people and young adults to live an amazing life as independently as possible.

Your key responsibilities as the Night Lead:
You will lead the operational night house team to provide person centred care to children with learning disabilities, autism and complex health and social care needs. You will ensure staff have the resources and support to provide the level and quality of service required day to day, plus the ongoing development and continuous improvement of the service. The Night Lead will work closely, alongside another Night Lead and will directly manage the shift leads/seniors and associated staff teams in promoting quality sleep for our young adults; and when awake a safe, caring, and purposeful learning environment that will assist them to achieve their fullest potential.

Essential Requirements:

Level 4/ Level 3 QCF/NVQ Health and Social Care or Level 3/Level 4 Children's & Young People's Workforce / or equivalent qualification.
Knowledge of Ofsted Quality standards and Children's Homes regulations.
Extensive knowledge and experience of working with children and young people with learning disabilities and complex needs.
Experience of managing a staff team; supervising and completing appraisals with staff in a care setting.Benefits:
