Mechanical Fitter

Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter to join our team. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling various metal components using welding techniques. This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay and opportunities for career growth.

Responsibilities:
- Perform fitting and welding tasks according to specifications and blueprints
- Utilize stick welding techniques to join metal parts together
- Use power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and grind metal pieces
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Measure and mark materials for cutting and shaping
- Conduct basic mathematical calculations to ensure accurate measurements
- Inspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

- Experience on Conveyors is needed!

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role
- Proficiency in stick welding techniques
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical principles
- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and other equipment used in fitting tasks
