Civil/Structural Cad Technician

Due to a healthy forward workload our client are looking to appoint a Civil/Structural Cad Technician for their office in Inverness.
The successful candidate will have a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of projects within residential, commercial sectors & water sectors.
The position is 3 days office based and 2 day from home.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
* Provide detailed structural drawings in steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber in Auto Cad software packages.
* Roads and Drainage design experience would be beneficial.
* Liaise with other members of staff and the design team.
* Maintain and promote our clients Technical standards.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
* A consultancy background is preferred, with a proven track record in delivering high standards of cad design.
* Strong Auto Cad software skills essential with communication and numerical skills.
* Flexible and enthusiastic approach to working within a team structure.
* Confidence and ability to maximise the level of responsibility taken on projects, small and large.
* Supervise junior technicians.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Minimum HNC/HND Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent
