Financial Accountant
Cardiff / Wrexham (Hybrid Working)
£45,000 - £50,000
15-month FTC (Maternity Cover)
We are looking for an experienced financial professional to join our team and help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the accountancy function. You’ll be accustomed to preparing annual financial statements and monthly management accounts, including reviewing month-end reconciliations and authorising bank payments. With leadership experience, you will leave and motivate your direct reports, ensuring that they can develop and maximise their potential and will work with them to achieve agreed objectives. As part of your role, you will oversee VAT compliance and payroll activities, so experience within these areas would be beneficial.
You’ll have up to date knowledge of technical accounting developments and have strong analytical skills with the ability to produce high quality financial statements and analysis. With knowledge of IFRS, you’ll hold a relevant qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or will be qualified through practical experience and will be able to identify improvements to our current processes.
