Application Architect

Application/Cloud Architect | Brussels | Contract | Initial 6 months

We are currently hiring for an Application/Cloud Architect fluent in English, to offer their services as an expert in Belgium. Please see the details below.

Location: Belgium, onsite

Rate: €527

Initially for a duration of 6 months which will be extended

Responsibilities:

* Design and document enterprise-level architecture, encompassing business processes, information flows, applications, and technology infrastructure.

* Establish and enforce technology standards and best-practices to ensure consistency and interoperability across the organisation.

* Document and communicate architectural decisions (Wiki).

* Provide guidance and oversight to project teams.

* Manage and facilitate the project’s transition.

Skills:

* Experience with programming languages and development practices to understand application development processes (JEE / .NET / JavaScript etc.);

* Experience with middleware technologies and their role in integrating different components of an IT architecture deployed in hybrid environments.

* Experience with DevOps principles and experience with continuous integration and deployment.

* Experience with API design principles and experience in managing APIs for efficient system integration.

* Knowledge of information system security principles and the ability to design secure systems and infrastructure

* Knowledge of modern SOA-based architecture underpinned by reusable and scalable services.

* Knowledge of application architecture, including designing and integrating software applications in an organization.

* Proficiency in popular enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or others.

* Understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure / AWS / ServiceNow)
