Rail HVAC Technician Derby (Days Monday – Friday )
A leading maintenance provider is currently recruiting for a Rail HVAC Technician to join their business engineering team in Derby.
You will be self motivated and able to carry out routine maintenance and diagnostic fault finding on Rail HVAC units. Assisting with strip down and repair of HVAC products where required as well as stripping and rewiring and testing electrical components. You will ensure Health and Safety procedures are adhered to at all times. Using an in house reporting systems to ensure all work is quoted and completed on time.
You will have experience of working on Rail HVAC equipment to include HVAC chiller units and compressors ideally. Experience of FGAS and Brazing is required. You will be a strong communicator with good troubleshooting skills and able to work well individually or as part of a team.
Working hours are Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 5:00 and Friday 08:00 – 2:00 pm. The role offers salary circa £37,000 - £40,000 plus 25 days holiday (additional day for birthday), Company Pension, Profit Share scheme and ongoing training and development opportunities
