Early Career Teacher

TeacherActive are proud to be working with a fantastic 'OUTSTANDING' OFSTED rated primary school in Nottinghamshire that are currently recruiting for a number of different passionate and driven Early Career Teachers/ECT.

Candidates will work well with staff and have the ability to inspire able and motivated students. Some of the roles may be on a rolling basis but with potential of longer-term or even permanent work after a 12 week AWR period available for the right Teacher. Furthermore, you will be supported by a dedicated consultant who will be able to place you in schools, provide feedback and support your professional development through our online training platform. The working hours can be flexible, and you can work on a full-time and part-time basis depending on your circumstances.

TeacherActive are looking to appoint an exceptional Early Career Teachers/ECT in Nottinghamshire and surrounding areas who can:

Teach all pupils in your class according to their educational needs and acknowledging that every lesson counts;
Create a well ordered and secure environment that will ensure the educational well-being of individual children within the classroom;
Undertake careful planning and delivery of the curriculum;
Ensure that the curriculum is differentiated to mean that tasks and activities are matched to the ability of the children and henceforth allowing them to make progress at the right pace and level;
Complete all assessments and records as determined by school policy in a timely fashion;
Work with school leaders to track the progress of individual children and intervene where pupils are not making progress;
Ensure that equal opportunities are implemented in the classroom and throughout the school;
There is also the opportunity for you to pick up any work over the summer term around your availability - e.g. Exam Invigilator, Teaching Assistant , Cover Supervisor etc. to trial out a few schools before committing long term to a September role.
