Site Manager - New Build Social Housing

Up to £65,000 plus Car Allowance + Benefits

The Company

An established well known Social Housing Contractor is looking to recruit an experienced No1 Site Manager; working on new build H/A Housing & Private Schemes of various build types and sizes.

Project:

You will be working on a 140 unit + fast paced new build development project, consisting of 2-4 bedroom homes including some apartments.

Site Manager Role:

The Site Manager will manage all site resources including labour, plant and materials as well as on-site health and safety and client customer service. You will be responsible for all on site production from site set up through to completion, sub-contract weekly / monthly meetings, managing programmes and working closely with clients. Whilst being able to drive the subcontractors and be responsible for Quality and programme. You must be capable of managing all aspects of the production works, be dynamic and eager to drive projects forward whilst being proactive and not reactive.

To be considered for this position you must have solid experience working for a national house builder, and meeting NHBC standards. It is important that you have a broad understanding of all trades and have a thorough knowledge of the construction process. You will have excellent organisation and communication skills, work well within a team and be computer literate.

Site Manager Requirements:

Experience working as a project lead on on large social housing new build schemes either from a contractor or developer.
Timber frame experience.
