I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Gaydon who are seeking a Vehicle Integration Engineer to join their team on a Contract basis.
Job Description
As Vehicle Integration Engineer your main responsibilities are:
Supporting Vehicle Engineering activities for multiple programmes for within SVO.
Support progression and delivery of geometric data & Virtual Series by gateway, including key geometry and freeze events.
Support benchmarking exercises and analysis, including vehicle assessments & target setting
Definition of prototypes specification in order to deliver DV plan (if required) T&D test planning (if required) Prototype Vehicle build support, if required.
Driving engineering sign off through RMDV2Support Issue Resolution through the engagement of multi-functional teams.
Ensure all appropriate Client standards are met throughout design maturation.
Supervise, support and coach VE C grades in team Support SoS meetings, EG, AIMS and JIRA resolution and other Agile meetings etc representing VE interests Technical data sheet completion support Qualifications / Skills needed
The Clients' Class 3 driver's license or equivalent or ability to complete it in a month
RMDV experienced user
AIMs experienced user
Min 3 years Min in a VE/Programme or similar vehicle level Integration role
Must have less than 6 points on driver's license
