QC Engineer required for a £100m plus manufacturing business based in RAK. with a focus on the Oil and Gas, Petrochem sector.
You will be :
Preparation & Review of ITP's, Procedures and Method statements for projects.
Assign inspection & NDT activities to subordinates.
Manage NDT technicians by effective utilization.
Study & Interpretation of AFC drawings, Code, Standards and specifications for acceptance and rejection
Collation and reporting of Quality Statistics of project activity including Defect rates.
Implement and maintain Quality Management System, Carry out scheduled Internal Audits of various functions of the organization including Supplier prequalification audit.
Prepare audit reports, Corrective Action Report, root cause analysis and closeout.
Raise and assist in resolving NCR's when identified.Looking for experience :
Minimum 7-10 years in the field oil & Gas construction activities for onshore, offshore, Rigs/ship building
Excellent communications skills (written and oral) in the English language
Engineering Degree or equivalent
Welding Inspector certification CSWIP 3.2 /AWS - SCWI
Painting Inspector certification BGAS/NACE
Knowledge in codes & standard
