Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a motivated and empathetic 1 to 1 Learner Support Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the support staff, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized assistance to a student with SEN, fostering their academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one support to a student with SEN, adapting teaching methods to accommodate individual needs.
Assist the student in accessing the curriculum and participating in class activities.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to the teaching team.Requirements:
Previous experience working with students with SEN is highly desirable.
A patient and compassionate approach to supporting learners with diverse needs.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals.
Flexibility and adaptability in responding to the unique requirements of the student.Qualifications:
Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
Relevant experience in a similar role is preferred.
