Salary – £49,995 to £63,832 + Company Car Allowance

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Asset Governance team supporting the E.ON Drive Business as an Asset Compliance Lead.

Here's what you'll be doing

The role holder will provide confident assurance as to the levels of compliance for all elements of the EON Drive Integrated Management System (IMS).

As part of the role you will be ensuring that all external certifications, accreditations and requirements relating to Health, Safety, Security, Environment, Quality and Asset Management are maintained and continually improved. You will be aware of external legislation related to electric vehicles, EV Industry and wider related regulatory changes.

At all times you will act as a compliance ambassador and fulfil all personal compliance requirements, proactively seeking out areas for compliance improvement and working to project/business outcomes or milestones. You will coordinate all compliance checks, internal and external audits and closure of non-conformities.

You will manage relationships with external certification, accreditation, associations and memberships bodies and also liaise with the teams within EON Drive so excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and influencing skills are a must.

What we need from you

* Have managed at least one ISO management system with strong understanding of ISO Management System Standards

*

Demonstrable experience in a specialist compliance/governance role with broad and in-depth knowledge areas plus the proven ability to collaborate with the wider business

*

Lead Auditor qualification / Internal Auditor qualification and demonstrable experience of auditing SHEQ or Management System topics

*

Health & Safety Management qualification (IOSH or NEBOSH)

*

Project management experience in an operational support environment, together with the ability to identify, develop and manage the introduction of changes to processes within the project team

*

Coaching and training skills with the ability to identify skill gaps and training needs and develop staff as appropriate

*

Verbal communication, interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to take a confident and diplomatic approach as required

*

Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and schedule workload and use appropriate tools and systems as required

*

A pro-active and creative approach to problem solving with the ability to solve complex problems and be able to offer new perspectives on existing solutions

*

Written communication skills with the ability to produce clear and concise reports, correspondence, etc

*

Numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and information and produce it in a clear and logical format

*

Ability to work autonomously under own initiative acting as mentor to colleagues

*

A working knowledge of IT Office and Governance Systems and the ability to own and adapt quickly to changes to those systems

*

The ability to act flexibility accommodating changes and managing change proactively and effectively

*

Manage own Continuing Professional Development (CPD) highlighting own areas for improvement and keep informed of own and the businesses legal and other requirements

*

Ability to drive and visit operational site locations on a regular basis.
