Aspen Fiber Networks, a leading information technology solutions provider, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Billing Administrative Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the billing department in performing various administrative tasks related to billing and invoicing.
As a Billing Administrative Assistant, you will work closely with the billing team to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, follow up on outstanding payments, and maintain billing records. You will also assist in resolving billing discrepancies and providing exceptional customer service to resolve any billing-related inquiries.
Responsibilities
Process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Follow up on outstanding payments and communicate with customers regarding payment status.
Assist in reconciling billing discrepancies and resolving customer billing issues.
Maintain billing records and ensure data integrity.
Assist in preparing financial reports and analysis related to billing.
Provide exceptional customer service to resolve billing inquiries and concerns.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure billing processes are efficient and effective.
Stay updated with industry regulations and best practices related to billing and invoicing.
Requirements
Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in billing or finance.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in using billing software and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
Associate degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field.
Prior experience in billing or finance is a plus.
