Job Description
Daily Tasks will include but are not limited to the following:
• Use configuration management tools to streamline server management and
automate routine tasks to improve efficiency and reduce operational overhead.
• Leverage scripting and orchestration frameworks to automate server
provisioning.
• Develop, maintain, and upgrade scripts for system management and automation.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage
server deployments.
• Design, create and maintain golden images for Windows Server and RedHat
Enterprise Linux.
• Troubleshoot and provide support for DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, SNMP,
TCP/IP, and WINS
• Perform server administration task; research event-log warnings and errors; and
monitor resources to ensure
that systems architect components work together seamlessly.
• Assist the server owners and other teams with troubleshooting to identify root
causes and provide technical
support when needed.
• Responsible for configuring two Windows 2019, 2022 Core physical servers and
five virtual Servers (3 Windows
VMs and 2 Linux VMs) per site. These servers provide infrastructure for Server
Operations, NOC, SCCM, EMS and
Security teams.
• To configure the Remote Access Card in both servers, configure Active
Directory, and DNS resource records
validation.
• Work experience with Windows Server configuration and management and
strong PowerShell scripting
experience.
• Develop, maintain, and upgrade scripts for system management and automation.
