Job Title: Science Teacher

Job Duties:
Plan and deliver engaging science lessons to students in KS3 and KS4
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
Implement effective classroom management strategies to create a positive learning environment
Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events
Contribute to the development of the science curriculum
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
Education:
Degree in a relevant science subject
Knowledge, Experience & Skills:
Experience teaching science at secondary level
Experience working with young people
Enthusiastic and positive attitude
Enthusiastic and positive attitude towards teaching
Passion for working with young people and helping them succeed
Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
Good understanding of the KS3 and KS4 science curriculum
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional training in special education needs (SEN) or behaviour management
Working Conditions:
Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday
Classroom-based teaching with occasional extracurricular activities
Collaboration with other teachers and school staff
