Assembly Operative

Our client in Winchester who are one of the world's most eminent designers and manufacturers of decorative furniture and accessories are looking for Assembly Operatives to join their team on a temp to perm basis. Whether you have previous experience in wiring or have experience within an electrical environment, with training and progression opportunities, this could be the perfect role for you!
The role of the Assembly Operatives will be working on the shop floor and reporting to the Production Supervisor on a daily basis. Day to day tasks will consist of working on the production line, wiring, soldering and PCB assembly. Hand tools will be used for this role so previous experience using would be beneficial.
Duties of the Role:
- Wiring, Soldering and Assembling PCBs
- Working with Hand Tools
- Working to Engineering Drawings
- Working to tight time schedules
Experience Required:
- Previous Wiring or Soldering Experience Desired
- Previous Experience working within an Electrical Environment
- Previous experience using hand tools
- Previous Production Experience
Offer:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:30am to 4:45pm - with 45 mins unpaid lunch (7.5 hours paid per day)
- £12ph (Pay due to increase in July)
- Overtime is dependant on demand but would only be offered after successful probation
- 24 days Holiday + Bank Holidays (once perm)

- Temp to Perm
* Candidates will be asked to wire a standard UK plug during the interview but you will be shown how to do this prior *
