Shift Lead Technician - Data Centre
Location: West Drayton
Type: Permanent
Salary: Up to £52,000 per annum
Role Overview: We are currently seeking a proficient Shift Lead Technician with specialized expertise in either Electrical or Mechanical systems to maintain and elevate engineering standards within our critical site environments. As a key member of our team, you will ensure meticulous maintenance and uphold operational excellence in our data centre facilities.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise and lead maintenance activities to ensure adherence to the highest standards of operation.
* Manage upkeep for various critical systems including, but not limited to:
* Boiler Systems
* Cooling Towers
* AHUs (Air Handling Units)
* FCUs (Fan Coil Units)
* Pumps and Motors
* BMS (Building Management Systems)
* LV / HV (Low Voltage / High Voltage)
* HV Switching
* Changing Ballast
* Emergency light testing
* Electrical Installations
* Execute preventive maintenance schedules to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
* Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
* Collaborate closely with management to identify and implement measures for enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar role within a critical site environment, preferably a data centre.
* Electrical or Mechanical qualification or equivalent experience.
* Strong technical knowledge of relevant systems and equipment.
* Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Flexibility to work shifts as required.
