Description
UBT Recruitment are working with a family-run SME based in Brentwood to recruit a Welding Operative. You will be joining a premier provider of innovative heigh access solutions, known for their commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction. As a Welding Operative you will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of various components and structures, ensuring all products meet their high standards of quality and safety.
Working hours & Salary: Monday to Friday 7am-5pm (1 hour lunch). 45 hours per week. Optional overtime. £39,780 per annum (£17 per hour).
Welding Operative Duties:
* Welding and Fabrication of Aluminium access equipment
* Working in support of the lead welder to manufacture bespoke platforms
* Cutting, drilling, grinding and welding
* MIG and TIG welding (predominantly TIG welding)
Requirements
* Experience with aluminium welding
* Language skills in Lithuanian or Russian
* Physically fit and healthy
* Attention to detail and following specific processes
* Structural knowledge to understand bracing requirements
* Willingness to learn and adapt
