Are you passionate about quality assurance?

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced QA Senior Engineer / Manager to oversee the quality assurance and quality control processes and mentor a small team of existing Quality Coordinators for an industry leading, award winning manufacturer in Caerphilly.

This is a new and exciting role working with some global well-known brands.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all QA QC processes and procedures comply with regulatory standards, maintaining documentation, implementing quality improvement initiatives, and training laboratory staff on quality protocols.

Responsibilities:

Develop and improve quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g. BRC, GMP)
Conduct regular audits and inspections of laboratory and manufacturing processes, equipment, and documentation to identify areas for improvement.
Gain expert knowledge of the business management system to support third party and customer audits on site.
Participate in regular communication with customers for New Product development, product approval and complaints
Establish and define competent statistical analysis, monitoring quality control data to identify trends, deviations, and potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Collaborate with laboratory staff to develop and implement training programs on quality assurance protocols and procedures.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of quality assurance activities, including audit reports, corrective action plans, and training records.
Coordinate with external agencies and auditors during regulatory inspections and audits.
Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to laboratory quality assurance.
New product development particularly QA trials, sample testing and approvals. This is a varied, interesting and challenging role for an industry leader.
