Our valued client is a leading public sector housing repairs department, situated in the heart of Nottinghamshire. They are dedicated to maintaining the well-being and safety of the local community by ensuring all housing repairs are completed to a high standard.
Your New opportunity
As a Repairs Inspector, you will be an integral part of the department, contributing to the team's mission of providing efficient and quality services to the residents of the authority.
Responsibilities:
Conducting inspections of repair work carried out and assessing and assigning jobs from customer complaint/reports
Ensuring all works are compliant with health and safety regulations
Managing the repairs schedule and maintaining logs - Liaising with contractors and staff to coordinate repairs
Providing feedback and reporting any issues to the management

Previous experience in a similar role within the construction/housing sector
An understanding of building regulations and health and safety legislation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
Strong problem-solving skills

Full driving licence
