Gurler Mae is proud to announce, that we are searching for a Customer Service Rep - German-Speaking on behalf of our client.
This opportunity is offered on a full-time and permanent basis.
This is a Full-time Office Base role in Preston.
As a Customer Service Rep- German-Speaking, the main objective of this role is to directly contact customers (via telephone and email) in order to resolve any outstanding balances. This position specifically focuses on dealing with customers in Germany. Additionally, providing support to the Team Manager in order to help the team achieve their goals is also a key responsibility.
Primary Duties:
● Manage customer interface, inbound/outbound telephone calls and emails
● Obtain and track payment commitments
● Direct/manage customer requests/instructions, copy invoices, service cancellation requests, billing disputes or questions, missing payment investigations, customer account changes (name, address, contact, VAT References, PO references), payment or credit allocations, refund eligibility
● Engage and/or coordinate with other Client functions including, Service Management, Billing Operations, Customer Care, Service Delivery, etc. (calls, emails, conference calls)
● Account reconciliations and investigations
● Account management
● Translating customer correspondence – using supported languages only
● Project Management
● Timely escalation management (internal & external)
Personal Specification:
● Fluent in German and English
● Be an excellent communicator with an enthusiastic attitude.
● Positive, with a motivated attitude toward customer service and the willingness to learn how to provide outstanding service.
● Excellent interpersonal skills and telephone manners.
● Confident, positive, proactive, and dynamic.
● Able to work as part of a team as well as to take own initiative.
● Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
● Attention to detail, curious thinker, and good listener.
● Previous experience with telephones is a great advantage.
● A candidate who can demonstrate assertiveness and possess the ability to get the customer to understand that the payment needs to be made would be ideal
● Good manners
● Some analysis – working out payment dates, and different time zones (e.g. only calling people in the East earlier in the day as they are ahead of the UK)

Schedule:
● 8-hour shift
● Monday to Friday
● Early Shift - 8 am till 4:30 pm & Late shift twice a week from 11 am till 7 pm This includes 1 Saturday shift a month from 9 am till 1 pm To apply:
