Finance Assistant (Hybrid)

Are you passionate about travel and numbers? My client in the travel industry is looking for a dynamic Accounts Assistant to join their team in the heart of Glasgow City Centre. Candidates with similar experience or relevant qualifications will be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Load multi-currency supplier charges/invoices into the accounting system.
- Process supplier payment runs.
- Handle and reconcile credit card transactions.
- Reconcile supplier balances to ensure accuracy.
- Address queries from suppliers and other departments via email and telephone.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
- Participate in the month-end process to ensure accurate management accounts.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as required.

Person Specification:
- Experience in a similar role, with a passion for the travel industry.
- Candidates with relevant degrees or similar experience will also be considered.
- Proficiency in using accounting systems.
- Experience in dealing with suppliers.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box to improve processes.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
