Site Engineer - Civil Contractor

Typically operating as a Principal Contractor, they delivery design & build projects up to around £12M in value. They excel at winning work by offering alternate technical solutions, and add further value through the ECI process.

As a Site Engineer you will initially support with the ongoing delivery of a technically challenging and unique project in central London.  This is a very high profile subcontract that sits on one of London's largest heavy civils projects. You'll gain experience in working with floating plant, barges and specialist diving activities.
You'll be responsible managing level and survey control, keeping up to date with construction drawings, managing quality and health & safety, resolving technical problems, assisting with RAMS and other site paperwork.

On completion of this project, the intention will be for you to support with ongoing works along the Thames.

For you to be successful in this position, you will:
Hold demonstrable experience in delivering civil engineering projects, with values in excess of £3M
Be educated to HND or Degree (or equivalent) level in Civil Engineering
Ideally have experience of working on Marine or wet civils projects. Alternatively, be well versed in earthworks and piling.
Have a clean driving licence and a willingness to travel across London and the South East (within reason)

On offer is a salary of around 35,000 - 40,000 per annum with a car allowance OR company van, paid travel, matched contribution pension, profit share bonus and 25 days holiday
