Eleven are delighted to be partnering with a innovative Climate Tech start-up, based in Australia, who are accelerating the shift from fossil fuels to green hydrogen, with a disruptive approach to electrolysis.
 
Their innovative technology is creating a buzz in the green hydrogen sector due to its promise to revolutionise the economics of green hydrogen production, through their unique combination of low capex and an ultrahigh system efficiency.
 
Having closed the largest cleantech investment round in Australian history, they are now looking for an experienced Power Systems Engineer, to join them on their journey and support the development and ultimate commercialisation of their ground-breaking technology.
 
Here, you will lead the development and implementation of secure and reliable power systems and architectures for their cutting-edge electrolyser and associated infrastructure, joining a group of dedicated, highly driven individuals, in a fast-paced start-up environment, where no two days are the same!

You Will

Responsible for implementing novel approaches for the AC to DC rectification and control of electrical supply for the electrolysis stack.
Identify development partners and manage the relationship for ensuring on-schedule and on-budget supply.
Integration of the AC/DC systems to the wider electrical system, development of the electrical architecture to ensure safety, reliability and efficiency targets are met.
Evaluate electrical designs (including interconnections and microgrid designs) proposed by EPCs and electrical design contractors. 
About You

Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
5+ years of experience in power engineering, preferably with associated experience in AC/DC conversion systems such as EV charging or large DC process industries (steel processing / aluminium smelting)
Experience with electrolysers, battery, or electrical energy storage systems a plus
Experienced with on up to 1 kV DC systems and incorporating this into electrical systems > 100 MW.
Hands on experience with electric power engineering systems
Ability to adapt within a highly dynamic, fast-paced work environmentBenefits
