We are proud to be partnered with a long-standing Newark based client who are seeking a Draughtsperson to join their team. As a Draughtsperson you will be an integral part of the Engineering Team liaising with all departments.

THE ROLE

As a Draughtsperson your duties will include:

* Compile drawings for client approval from front sheet, specification and information provided

* Act as customer liaisons to resolve potential “issues” or problems

* Provide technical help and information to shop floor and service department (incl. site visits)

* Liaise with design team to resolve production or development problems

* Liaise with sales team to provide technical support and assistance in producing drawings for estimating/sales purposes

* Responsible for managing and updating relevant databases

* Work in co-operation with all company personnel both inside and outside the office

* Comply with all other reasonable requests to assist with the smooth running of the company

THE CANDIDATE

An ideal Draughtsperson will possess the following attributes:

* ONC, BTEC or higher in Mechanical Engineering

* Competent in the use of Autodesk AutoCAD 2D

* Competent in the use of Autodesk Inventor including knowledge of coding using iLogic

* MS Office Experience including MS Excel.

* Clean Driving Licence

* Will be a strong communicator, confident liaising with clients, engineers and staff internally
