The School and Role

Vision for Education is seeking a full-time Learning Support Mentor for a well-regarded school in Sunderland from September 2024 to July 2025. This role involves supporting students with diverse and complex needs such as ASC (Autism) MLD (Modert Learning Difficulties) and PMLD (Profound Moderate Learning Difficulties, aiding in their educational and personal development, and collaborating with teachers and staff to foster an inclusive learning environment. Ideal candidates will have experience with children, particularly those with special educational needs, strong communication skills, and relevant qualifications.

Requirements:

Experience of working with pupils with SEND
A passion for education and helping people
An ability to work as part of a team
A nurturing and engaging personality
