We are partnering with a Freight Forwarding company looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team in Essex.

General duties:

* Identifying and pursuing new business development for the company

* Cold calling prospect clients

* Implement the Business Sales plans

* Achieving company growth targets and sales

* Win business from new customers in line with targets set by the Sales Manager

* Generate an increase in business from existing customers listed in your portfolio

* Identify new target customers within defined parameters.

Requirements:

* Experience within a freight forwarding environment essential

* Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities

* Excellent communication and negotiation skills

* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients
