Facilities Coordinator

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Working Pattern: Full Time (8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday)

Location: Basildon

Are you a proactive and organised individual with experience in facilities management? Our client, a leading organisation in the industry, is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the mailroom, as well as providing support for various facilities-related tasks. If you have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Assist and/or manage the day-to-day running of the mailroom, ensuring the sorting and distribution of incoming mail and deliveries according to site processes
Arrange DHL and courier collections, as well as franking outgoing mail
Collect mail from around the building and provide cover as required for Front of House
Support and collaborate with team members as required
Raise, update, and review tickets within the facilities management system
Build and maintain strong positive relationships with customers and vendors, promoting excellent service
Participate in the development and roll out of policies and procedures
Initiate interventions to solve problems and actively promote safety measures in the building
Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they ariseSkills & Experience:

Previous experience in facilities management or relevant field
Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation relevant to the FM industry
Good communication and negotiation skills
Strong client relationship development experience
Proficient in MS Office programmes and internal systemsPersonal Attributes:

Competent and confident in managing workload
Presents a professional appearance
Proactive and able to work under pressure
