Nelson Permanent Placements are proud to represent an Electrical and Maintenance Contractor based in the Birmingham area. They predominantly cover the Midlands area; however also cover other parts of the UK as and when required by projects. They are both an NICEIC registered and CHAS accredited contractor with an abundance of experience across installation and maintenance domestically, commercially and industrially.

They are excited to add to our expanding business in line with the increased demand. Now they are looking to a few Qualified Electrician to their team.

Employment Package:

* Company Vehicle

* Performance based annual bonus

* Up to £42,000 basic

* 40 Hrs per week

Responsibilities:

* Able to read/understanding site drawings and wiring diagrams.

* Completing Electrical Certificates and all relevant paperwork for installation and testing purposes

* Inspecting, repairing, and servicing by investigating and diagnosing faults and making effective, economical, and lasting repairs

* An understanding of installation and commission of Intruder alarms

* Carry out all works in accordance with NICEIC regulations

* Fully complete all relevant documentation relating to all aspects of the role

* Work closely with our contract managers and clients on site

* Working on Domestic & Commercial sites including Social Housing

Requirements:

* JIB Gold card or equivalent NVQ3 electrical qualifications

* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the electrical field across both commercial and domestic settings.

* Highly developed interpersonal skills

* Full UK driving licence

* Familiar with NICEIC certification system

Desirable Qualifications:

* Asbestos Awareness (Category A)

* First Aid

* PASMA

* IPAF

* Face Fit

* C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent qualification
