Success Recruit are currently working with a growing construction firm, who are seeking to recruit a Commercial Assistant to support with the smooth running of their office in South Essex. Our client welcomes ambitious and driven candidates, happy to get involved with a variety of administrative and logistical tasks.

The successful Commercial Assistant will be an integral part of the team, supporting the Contract Managers and Estimators. They will also work closely with the Office Managers & Personal Assistant, assisting with day-to-day admin tasks and various adhoc projects.

The successful Commercial Assistant will be expected to:

* Have exceptional communication skills both written & verbal

* Be a strong team player, working collaboratively within an experienced team

* Demonstrate the ability to work proactively and meet tight deadlines

* Have previous experience in a similar role, preferably within construction or a related industry

Job Description:
The purpose of this role is to ensure all administration is processed to a high level daily, with all documents saved in an orderly, efficient manner; this in turn allows maximum opportunities to be achieved by the management team who can then focus on increasing revenue and quality support to their new and existing customer base.

Duties to include but not limited to:

* Working closely with the estimators & contracts managers to collate site packs for the fitters

* Supporting the contracts managers with scheduling the teams on the system for all site workers

* Booking hotel accommodation for fitters

* Managing the teams current project checklists - ensuring all aspects are being actioned and are accurate

* Learning / utilising their software to calculate sizes and quantities from drawings

* Uploading data from site surveys onto the system ready for quotation

* Following-up outstanding quotes with clients

* Checking clients purchase order against the job order to ensure they align

* Working closely with the operations manager to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials & services

* Assisting the office manager with any ad-hoc tasks required

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied busy admin position, with the ability to adapt to changing team requirements. This position will suit someone who enjoys meeting deadlines and shows enthusiasm to learn new skills within a fast-paced office. Our client is looking for a confident, friendly individual with a great approach to teamwork.

Hours:
Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm & Friday 8am-4pm

Salary:
Circa up to £30k dependant on experience
