S3 Science is currently recruiting for an Admin Assistant to join our client based near Cambridge on a temporary basis. Our client is proud to be a global veterinary medicine provider who is dedicated to the health and welfare of animals. This is for a 12-month contract with the possibility to be extended further. You will need to be immediately available. This role requires someone with strong organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Open order book reviews - proactively being able to see any delivery issues, delays to shipments and alerting the line manager/team.
* Typing, filing, answering phones, scheduling, record keeping, coordinating meetings and conferences
* Organizing freight of goods with the correct paperwork, packing list of items, commercial invoices and contacting liaising directly with the forwarders
* Maintaining accuracy of all purchase orders live or achieved
* Serial number generation to be provided to factories at production stage
* Obtaining supplies and/or sorting and distributing mail
* Communication between line manager on delivery status or reported issues.
* May be asked to work on special projects which will include recording, compiling, retrieving, reporting and analysing information
Job Requirements:
* At least 2 years experience in an Admin role
* At least 2 years experience in Customer Service
* Ability to multitask and prioritise
* Strong communication and organisation skills
* Proficiency with MS Office and emailing systems
* SAP knowledge would be a bonus
