Financial Controller – Contract
Are you an experienced Financial Controller looking for a challenging opportunity in a business at the forefront of Energy transition? We are working with a growing, dynamic business who is looking for a dedicated Financial Controller to join their team and play a key role in overseeing the financial health of their company. This is a 12 month contract position.
As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
* Driving financial control requirements within the framework of company objectives, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and developing a keen commercial awareness of the business activities.
* Analysing financial performance, collaborating with different departments, implementing financial policies and procedures, managing budget and long-term plans.
* Collaborating with internal stakeholders and provide guidance/training around best business practices.
To excel as a Financial Controller, the ideal candidate should be:
* Part or fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
* An experienced Financial Controller (or similar) with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, and other technical skills e.g. Power BI, Power Point, and financial software
*Any experience in the renewable energy or EV industry is advantageous*
Location: London (hybrid working)
Contract length: 12 months
