We are hiring a Part Time Finance Manager!
Paying up to £41,000 FTE (DOE)
Are you a finance professional with a passion for the leisure industry?
We are looking for a Part-Time Finance Manager to join our Milton Keynes-based client and support our General Manager in making our local community a better place!
This is a fantastic opportunity to advance your finance career and work with a new facility that will generate further business revenue.
25-30 flexible hours per week available. Choose the days and times that work for you.
Option to work from home available
Satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure required.
Responsibilities:
Take charge of all transactional aspects of the Trust and Trading companies
Prepare monthly management accounts and reports for the Board of Trustees and Senior Management Team
Ensure timely reconciliation and posting of journals
Monitor and report on variances to budget and prior year
Manage purchase and sales ledgers, invoicing, and debtors and creditors reports
Handle VAT returns and statutory filing for the external accountant
Calculate payroll payments and maintain staff timesheets
Cross-check daily income sheets, record revenue, and raise credit notes when necessary
Support external accountants for annual statutory accounts and tax returns
Handle petty cash journals and assist in budget preparations
Manage purchase orders, invoices, and supplier queries
Ensure timely payment and reconciliation of staff expenses and credit card receipts
Requirements:
Extensive experience with Sage software and ability to learn IT software quickly
Strong time management skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently in a stand-alone role, supporting the wider team.
