Liberty Recruitment Group are delighted to be working exclusively with this proud charity in recruiting an HR Manager to work in Portsmouth. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will be kept very busy in a particularly varied role!
Reporting into a fantastic CEO, this newly created role will be pivotal in shaping the future of HR for the business. You will take ownership of the full employee experience, delivering and maintaining the highest level of HR support to the entire organisation.
Some of your duties will include;
Strengthening onboarding, induction, recognition and retention activities.
Alongside the CEO, developing and implementing the People Strategy for 2024/25.
Providing high quality advice and guidance on all HR matters to a range of staff, including complex ER cases.
Reviewing the current systems for performance management and appraisals, making recommendations to the CEO.
Taking accountability for the HR budget and participating in annual budget planning and forecasting meetings.
Participating in Management meetings regarding operational and strategic HR matters.
As a person you will be a confident communicator along with being empathetic. You will have proven HR generalist experience at a senior level, strong leadership skills and in-depth knowledge of UK employment legislation. Ideally you will have experience from a multi-site setting, although this is not essential.
The salary offered is circa £45k, depending on experience, plus numerous benefits including; 27 days’ annual leave + bank holidays, life assurance, subsidised gym membership, generous pension contributions and free parking.
