TeacherActive are currently recruiting Teacher to support the learning and development of pupils requiring additional support in Colleges.  Some of these pupils would be NEET and in danger of being excluded from mainstream education. The College work with a wide-range of pupils with additional learning and emotional/social needs. Experience with challenging behaviour is a must.

The biggest focus will be on delivering core skills in English and Maths at GCSE level. 

Skills and Experience:

– Understanding and appreciation of working with disengaged pupils and those with SEN/ALN/Challenging Behaviour;

– Positive behaviour strategy knowledge and experience of helping children self-regulate emotions;

– Excellent written communication and reporting;

– Excellent timekeeping and reliability with an empathetic and understanding nature;
