Area Support Manager

Area Support Manager – Contract Catering Education – Leicestershire  - £28 per annum plus travel expenses

My client is an independent, forward thinking catering company who are passionate about providing an exceptional catering and consultancy service to their clients.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Area Support Manager with a strong understanding of contract catering within the Education sector. You will report to the Operations Manager and assist with mobilisation, relief cover, trouble shooting and enhancing units in their service and delivery in and around the Leicestershire area.

My client is ideally looking for an experienced Operations Support Manager or Multi Site Manager with impressive financial and business acumen, who can increase profits, control costs and drive sales. You will be responsible for overseeing and motivating approx. 25 Catering/Chef Managers in your area, along with another Area Support Manager in your patch, ensuring their units are performing within budget. You will also be required to assist with sales presentations for prospective clients.

The successful candidate will be a strong manager with previous experience of successfully managing your area/multiple units within the education sector and a qualified chef. You will have effective communication skills, an eye for detail and a proactive, can do attitude. You will also have excellent craft skills with innovative ideas.
