We are recruiting a experienced Sous chef for our clients who operate this daytime venue, that also does evening events to take work alongside the head chef to build on the great reputation the kitchen holds locally for the food served here

Offering a great work/life balance with predominantly daytime hours, with a few early evenings for the various events the venue holds weekly, this is the ideal opportunity for an experienced Sous chef to come in and excel in a kitchen that is geared around an all day food offering

The ideal candidate will be to demonstrate:

From a similar background, heading up a fresh food led kitchen team, be it in a Hotel, restaurant or gastro pub environment

Have experience managing teams, and have the skills to enthuse & engage junior chefs

Be able to work under own steam, as there are times this in a one chef kitchen, on the quieter days

Have experience in menu planning, stock control & kitchen management

Be up to date on the latest allergen, H&S and COSSH regulations and be compliant in all relevant kitchen H&S management

Have the drive and desire to push yourself every day, with proven career progression within the group, these are the attributes the group are looking for in their chefs
