Salary: £54,000 + bonus and overtime at 1.5x

Friday: 16:00 - 01:30About The Role: Maintenance Engineer

Join our team as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer and play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly. You'll handle a mix of preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and hygiene.

Your expertise will help us improve maintenance methods and techniques. You'll work closely with the production team to meet daily goals, optimise equipment settings, and ensure IT systems are functioning well.

Responsibilities:

Perform a range of plant maintenance tasks, both proactive and reactive, to ensure optimal plant operation.
Use predictive maintenance techniques like thermo-graphic imaging and vibration analysis.
Implement equipment reliability improvements and develop new maintenance workflows.
Optimise processes for maximum efficiency.
Use preventive/predictive maintenance techniques to achieve high plant reliability.
Ensure critical spares are available.
Manage workflows to stay within the maintenance budget.
Oversee projects as needed.
Adhere to safe work systems, PPE permits, and risk assessments.Who You Are: Maintenance Engineer

Experienced in electro-mechanical fault finding and repairs, including PLCs, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Proficient in preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
Strong communicator, able to coordinate multiple tasks and interact effectively with various teams.
Familiar with safe systems of work (Permit to Work systems).
Skilled in conducting preventive maintenance tasks.
Able to train operators and work at heights when required.
Experience working as part of a maintenance team on a manufacturing site.
Effective problem solver with a high drive and can-do attitude.
Self-motivated, able to work independently and under pressure.
Flexible with shifts to cover for other engineers' holidays.
Committed to training and development.
Ensure all maintenance tasks are carried out and documented on the CMMS.Preferred Qualifications:

Technical school higher qualification (NVQ) or Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
Basic understanding of preventive/predictive maintenance techniques.
Excellent technical, analytical, and fault-finding skills.
Good knowledge of maintenance processes and activities.
PC literate with competent computer skills.
Proven continuous improvement skills.
IPAF License, Confined Space trained, and Mansafe system trained.Why Join Us?
