Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: £26,000

Days: Monday - Friday

Hours: 6am - 2:30pm (unpaid break) and 2pm - 10pm (paid break)

If yes, we would love to hear from you! Our client in Milton Keynes are looking for a Finisher.

The coating machine/rewinder operator is responsible for setting up and operating the coating machine or rewinder machine to produce print on linerless label rolls. Previous experience running linerless coating machines is preferred but time served machine operators in other related areas of manufacturing or warehousing would also be considered. This hands-on position thrives in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment.

Finisher Responsibilities:

Operate Coating Machinery in a safe working manner in line with all company best practices and procedures as required to ensure production targets are met.
Organise systems to ensure all jobs for print shift are ready.
Follow instructions and complete within a given timeline
Manage Silicone/Adhesive consistency during set up and operation.
Ensure daily schedules are met.
Complete documentation for traceability and BRC.
Daily maintenance and care of machinery and working area to ensure that it is kept clean
Finisher Skills:

Must have Finisher experience
Must have manufacturing experience within labels
Work as part of a team
Be self-motivated
Use their initiative
Be enthusiastic in their attitude and approach to work
Adhere closely to standard procedures and methods
Work accurately with an ‘eye’ for detail
Have an acceptable Health & Safety record
