We are currently recruiting an Experienced Senior Engineer to work on building project in Manchester.
This is a freelance position and 40weeks programme.
As the Senior Engineer you will be responsible for:
* Management of work to high standards of performance in line with project procedures and applicable standards, through the leadership with safety and quality focus.
* Managing site engineers and ensure they are using correct AFC drawing.
* Ensure site has appropriate drawing.
* Knowledge of QA and onsite paperwork.
* Assist Project Manager with technical information and materials orders.
* Maintain site diary.
* Review drawing and raise RFI/TQ as required.
* Carrying out of quality assurance inspections.
* Ensuring a safe working practice
* Support project manager and contract manager on day today activities.
* Preferred to have SMSTS/SSSTS Qualification but not essential.
Skills:
* Previously worked as a site engineer/ Senior Engineer on Civil/ RC Frame or refurbishment project.
* Hold a valid CSCS card SMSTS (having First Aid will be advantages)
* Degree in Engineering or equivalent is preferable.
* Ideal candidate must have rights to live and work in UK
* Must have experience in
* King Post Walls
* Twin Wall System to Cores
* BAMTEC reinforcement to slabs
* Sub-structure and drainage package
