Job Title: Welder
Location: TF3
Pay Rate: £13 - £14.60 per hour
Hours:
* Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
* Friday: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our clients team based in TF3. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both MIG and TIG welding techniques and a commitment to producing high-quality work. This is a full-time position offering competitive hourly pay and consistent work hours.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform MIG and TIG welding operations in accordance with industry standards and project specifications.
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand the requirements and specifications of welding projects.
* Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, shaping, and smoothing surfaces.
* Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify and correct defects, ensuring all welds meet quality standards.
* Operate and maintain welding equipment, ensuring all tools are in good working order.
* Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
* Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure project deadlines are met.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in both MIG and TIG welding.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Knowledge of welding safety practices and procedures.
* Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Certification in welding from a recognized institution.
* Experience with a variety of metals and welding techniques.
* Familiarity with welding equipment maintenance and repair.
