Social Worker - Children's MASH Team
Location: Sheffield
Position: Social Worker
Salary: £31 per hour
Sheffield City Council is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our Children's MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub) Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in safeguarding and protecting vulnerable children in our community.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertaking assessments and investigations of child protection concerns referred to the MASH team.
Coordinating multi-agency responses to safeguarding issues, ensuring timely interventions.
Making decisions regarding the appropriate level of intervention and support required.
Collaborating closely with partner agencies, professionals, and families to promote the welfare of children.Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with experience in child protection and safeguarding.
Registered with Social Work England (or eligible for registration).
Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child safeguarding.
Strong assessment and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage complex cases.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to team working.Benefits:
