Maintenance Engineer

Cure Talent is working with a global manufacturing company who specialise in the design and manufacture of innovative medical and scientific products. Due to continued growth and continued site wide investment, we have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team.
With a focus on maximising plant uptime, our Maintenance Engineers play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, manufacturing, and laboratory equipment. From providing support to Production Technicians and facilities, to conducting routine instrumentation calibration and adjustment, you'll be at the forefront of keeping our operations running smoothly.
You will have the opportunity to develop preventative maintenance and calibration activities, as well as solve faults and failures in processing equipment. With the support of specialised contractors, you'll repair faulty machinery and equipment, ensuring that spare parts and materials are well managed.
As a key member of our team, you'll also collaborate with project teams on the commissioning of new equipment and processes. At the forefront of safety and quality, you'll ensure all interactions are carried out with the highest ethical and professional standards.
What do you need to apply?
* An apprenticeship or level 3 qualification in a technical engineering subject (mechanical, electrical, electronics, instrumentation, etc.)
* Previous experience carrying out reactive/preventative maintenance and equipment calibration within a regulated engineering environment.
* Computer literate and good written & verbal communication skills
* Willing to work Monday-Friday, 8-4pm
