Experienced Sheet Metal Worker / Aluminium Fabricator

Are you a skilled Fabricator with a passion for precision and innovation? Our well-established client in Normanton, a leader in the fabrication of sign structures, is looking for an experienced Aluminium Fabricator to join their team.
Key Responsibilities of Aluminium Fabricator:

MIG Welding: Perform MIG welding on aluminium and mild steel components with precision
*
Fabrication: Engage in the general fabrication of sign structures, requiring creativity and innovation.
*
Operate sheet metal machinery: Including Guillotine and CNC Brake Press, with a strong emphasis on H&S
*
Reading Drawings: Accurately read and interpret fabrication drawings to ensure precise execution
Qualifications and Skills required as Aluminium Fabricator:
* Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in MIG welding.
* Trade Skills: Extensive experience, particularly in aluminium welding. Competence in all aspects of sheet metal work.
* Technical Skills: Familiarity with the operation of sheet metal machinery.
* Drawing Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings accurately.
* Desirable Skills: TIG welding skills are a plus.
* Character: Reliable, flexible, and of good character (references may be required).
* Training: This is a fully skilled appointment; while trade skill training is not anticipated, training will be provided in Health & Safety, new techniques, and working systems as required.
Work Schedule:
Alternating shifts
Shift 1
Monday-Thursday: 7am-3:30pm
Shift 2
Monday-Thursday: 9:30am-6pm, Friday: 7:30am-4pm
What We Offer:
* Regular overtime opportunities, including Saturday mornings until lunch, paid at time and a half.
* 13.50/h with additional pay for overtime.
